Magnetic Particles Nanorod of ZnO/CuFe2O4 Prepared by Green Synthesized Approach: Structural, Optical and Magnetic Properties, and Photocatalytic Activity

In this study, magnetically separable ZnO/CuFe2O4 nanorod particles were synthesized by the green synthesis approach, using rambutan peel extract (Nephelium lappaceum L.) as a capping agent. The samples evaluated photocatalyst for degradation of Rhodamine B dye driven solar light irradiation. XRD patterns represented specific peaks ZnO and CuFe2O4 in composite. SEM TEM images showed rod-like shape composite 3 mL (ZCuE3N) extract. ZCuE3N sample has an increase photocatalytic activity up to 98.8% under irradiation 2 h. Magnetic measurement VSM revealed that was superparamagnetic. composites remained stable air atmosphere exhibited promise reusable it can be easily separated from solution external magnetic field.
